Job summary

Sonar, based in Austin, TX, is seeking an Information Security professional to partner with our CISO and cross‑functional teams. You will shape security messaging for customers, advise on contracts, and help advance trust systems and governance across the company.

You will enhance the Trust Center, translate complex security details into clear business terms, and drive improvements in our security posture, incident readiness, and compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR to support our growing

Qualifications

• Unwavering focus on security as enabling factor for teams.
• Experience reviewing, redlining, and negotiating security clauses in contracts.
• Ability to translate technical detail into clear business terms.
• Comfort working with senior leaders, including a CISO.
• Deep multi-domain InfoSec knowledge (GRC, Cloud, IAM, AppSec).
• Experience using AI tools to automate governance tasks.
• Strong organizational skills for multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers and internal users to answer security questions.
• Collaborate withEngineering, Product, GTM, and InfoSec to craft clear responses.
• Review MSAs/DPAs and provide security clause feedback with Legal and Sales.
• Maintain and improve Trust Center and federated security tooling.
• Develop and refine prompts/workflows using LLMs for security info systems.
