Job summary

Spotfire, a business unit of Cloud Software Group, is seeking a Senior Customer Success Data Scientist for the North America region (California preferred). You will guide customers to adopt Spotfire, lead analytics deliverables, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve customer outcomes and product health.

The role emphasizes hands‑on data science, ML/AI, and developing prototypes while representing Spotfire at events and expanding customer value.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in data science or analytics delivering demonstrations or deployed software
• Experience applying analytics, ML, optimization to large, disparate data sources
• Industry experience in Manufacturing, Energy, Transportation & Logistics or Life Sciences
• Ability to present complex concepts to non‑technical stakeholders
• Strong collaboration across internal and customer teams

Responsibilities

• Translate business objectives into actionable success plans for customers
• Build consultative relationships and act as trusted advisor to customer stakeholders
• Lead R&D topics in applied ML/AI and develop prototypes
• Collaborate with sales, support, product, and engineering to align strategy and outcomes
• Engage with customers in the Spotfire community and at industry events
• Develop analytical deliverables using exploratory analytics, ML and AI techniques
• Coach and train other team members as needed
