Job description

Minimum qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  2. 6 years of experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
  3. 6 years of experience working with web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).
  4. Experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.

Preferred qualifications:

  1. Experience with Google Cloud ML deployments.
  2. Experience with Neural Networks (Computer Vision) models.
  3. Knowledge/experience in sustainability, particularly waste and recycling.
  4. Strong technical leadership, project management, analytical problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  5. Excellent communication skills both verbally and written, comfortable in both business and technical discussions.
  6. Ability to work independently in ambiguous environments with minimal guidance.

Role overview: gTech Ads is responsible for support, media, and technical services for customers across our Ad products stack. We aim to help customers optimize their use of our products, provide support, and develop tailored solutions ranging from bespoke to scalable services for millions worldwide. We collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams within Google to enhance our offerings and customer experience. gTech’s new Sustainability team seeks a Senior Customer and Partner Solutions Engineer to collaborate with Google’s product teams, strategic clients, think tanks, and non-profits to develop innovative solutions for environmental sustainability leveraging Google technology.

The US base salary range for this full-time role is $147,000-$216,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Salary specifics depend on role, level, location, skills, experience, and education.
