Job Details

Our growing organization is seeking a seasoned Permanent Senior Customer Service Specialist. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in customer service and insurance adjustments. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the healthcare industry, and will be responsible for providing top-tier customer support, handling complex queries, and directing calls. This role is integral to ensuring our clients receive the highest level of service, and as such, demands a highly skilled, dedicated, and professional individual.

Responsibilities

As a Permanent Senior Customer Service Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include

  • Providing top-notch customer service to clients, addressing their inquiries, resolving their issues, and ensuring their overall satisfaction.
  • Handling complex customer service issues, escalating them to the relevant departments when necessary.
  • Acting as an independent insurance adjuster, reviewing and settling claims in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Answering and directing calls, ensuring all communications are handled professionally and promptly.
  • Maintaining detailed records of customer interactions and transactions, documenting details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken.
  • Collaborating with the customer service team to streamline processes, improve service levels, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Training junior customer service staff on best practices and procedures.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the candidate must possess the following qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably within the healthcare industry.
  • Proven experience as an adjuster or an independent insurance adjuster.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively handle and direct calls.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex customer service issues.
  • Proficient in the use of customer service software, databases, and tools.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
  • A high level of professionalism and a customer-focused approach.
