Job summary

SkyWater Technology in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Customer Quality Assurance Engineer to act as the primary quality interface with customers, ensuring product quality, reliability, and satisfaction throughout the manufacturing lifecycle. You will drive problem resolution and continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced semiconductor environment.

The role requires 5+ years of quality engineering with customer-facing experience, knowledge of wafer fabrication quality standards, and

Qualifications

• BS in STEM field and 5+ years in quality engineering with customer exposure.
• Experience with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 is a plus.
• Proficiency in SPC, DOE, MSA, FMEA, CAPA and statistical analysis.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the customer-facing quality representative addressing inquiries and quality concerns.
• Build strong customer relationships through responsive communication and issue resolution.
• Support customer QBRs and lead customer-facing 8D corrective actions.
• Ensure contractual quality requirements are consistently met.
• Investigate defects, perform root cause analysis, and implement CAPA.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, process and yield teams.
