Job summary

Google Public Sector is seeking a Customer Engineer for AI Infrastructure in Reston, VA to partner with technical Sales and differentiate Google Cloud. You will be the customer’s primary technical partner, leading technical conversations to understand business issues and troubleshoot questions while architecting cross-pillar cloud solutions.

You will focus on hardware accelerators (GPU/TPU), ML frameworks, and lifecycle tooling, with up to 20% travel and a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of cloud native architecture in customer-facing roles.
Experience engaging with technical stakeholders or executives.
Experience with ML model development and deployment.
Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph; travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

Accelerate customer time-to-value on AI Infrastructure and HPC workloads.
Build trusted advisor relationships with customer architects and research teams.
Provide domain expertise on hardware accelerators and ML frameworks.
Recommend GPU/TPU hardware, frameworks, benchmarks, and model-building approaches.
Manage the research engineering relationship with customers and cross-functional teams.
