Job summary

Medtronic plc in the United States (Midwest) is seeking a field-based Customer Engagement Specialist to support hospitals and health systems with Digital Technologies solutions. You will partner with clinicians, OR leaders, and IT teams to drive adoption, optimize workflows, and translate product usage data into actionable insights.

Preferred candidates are located in Chicago, Illinois or Columbus, Ohio. Travel 75%+ within the territory and remote work within the Midwest are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years experience OR advanced degree with 5+ years in healthcare technology, medical devices, clinical operations, perioperative services, or account management.
• Experience in operating room environments and healthcare settings.
• Strong ability to translate data into actionable insights and compelling narratives.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer engagement activities across live Midwest accounts and build relationships with surgeons, OR leaders, administrators, and IT teams.
• Drive platform adoption by aligning solutions to clinical workflows and organizational priorities.
• Analyze customer usage data and translate insights into action plans for adoption and growth.
• Present outcomes, opportunities, and performance metrics in business reviews with hospital stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering to relay customer feedback and roadmap needs.
• Deliver product training and assist with go-live activities and operational troubleshooting.
