Job summary

The Minnesota Star Tribune is seeking a Sr. Customer Service Representative at our Minneapolis, MN headquarters.

This on-site role focuses on handling escalated customer questions, digital product support, and subscription services with care and precision, while phone support is required on peak days. You will work 8:00 AM–7:00 PM Mon–Fri and occasional weekend shifts, with about 10% in-office attendance for quarterly meetings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 2 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; empathy and problem solving.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Zendesk experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct customer support for escalated issues and ensure high service quality.
• Handle inquiries related to home delivery, digital products, website support, and subscriptions.
• Escalate issues to appropriate teams in a timely manner.
• Meet or exceed individual and team goals for call volume and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and documentation.
