The Minnesota Star Tribune, a leading Minnesota newsroom, seeks a Consumer Support Representative at our Minneapolis headquarters to handle subscriptions, take payments, answer questions on products, and manage renewals. You will respond to inquiries by phone and electronic channels during posted hours.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and customer service experience; Zendesk familiarity is a plus.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Call center or customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with Zendesk or other online help ticketing systems a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong phone etiquette.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong multitasking and time management skills.
• Friendly, energetic and compassionate approach with customers and team.

Responsabilidades

• Handle customer inquiries related to subscriptions, home delivery, digital products, and support with professionalism.
• Provide timely solutions while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
• Redirect customers to appropriate departments or teams as needed.
• Make outbound calls regarding account status, billing, and auto-renewal details.
• Collaborate with support, marketing, and internal teams to ensure product success.
• Meet or exceed individual and team goals for call volume, retention, and service quality.
• Adhere to all communication standards, policies, and procedures.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience in every task.
