Job summary

On Time Fab, a fast-growing Owensboro, Kentucky fabrication shop, is hiring an Experienced Welder/Custom Fabricator for full-time, permanent work. You will read engineering drawings, prepare pieces, weld with TIG or MIG, and ensure high-quality finished products.

Requirements include a minimum of 7 years in welding and fabrication, a strong work ethic, teamwork, safety, dependability, and willingness to learn. Competitive hourly pay and weekly pay offered in a safe, well-equipped shop.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years welding/fabrication experience.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specs.
• Proficiency with TIG and MIG welding.
• Must maintain safety and shop cleanliness.
• Must be punctual and have good attendance.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work with others.
• Must be willing to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Read/understand engineering drawings & specs to plan completion of pieces.
• Cut, grind, machine, and form work-pieces as required accurately including sheet metal, plate, tube, pipe, channel and angle.
• Weld components and assemblies using TIG or MIG on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Inspect own work with measuring equipment and ensure precision.
• Perform final assembly to produce high quality finished products.
