Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Custom Home Project Manager in South Florida to lead high-end residential builds from preconstruction through handover. You will translate architectural plans and client visions into finished homes while controlling budgets, schedules, and quality.

This permanent, on-site role offers a fast-paced environment with significant impact on homeowner experience. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in custom home project management, strong leadership, and solid budgeting skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction project management experience on custom homes or high-end residential projects.
• Strong decision-making skills to assess risks and balance quality, cost, and schedule.
• Proven experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Budget management including estimating, tracking, forecasting and change-order control.
• Solid understanding of residential construction processes, systems, sequencing, materials and finishes.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings, engineering documents, specifications and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Manage custom home projects from planning and permitting through construction, inspections, punch lists and closeout.
• Build and maintain project schedules; coordinate trade sequencing and address issues affecting delivery.
• Develop and oversee budgets; review invoices; manage change orders and forecast spending.
• Lead subcontractors, suppliers and project teams with clear expectations and quality workmanship.
• Make timely decisions on construction methods, resources and field issues.
• Coordinate with homeowners, architects, designers, engineers and field supervisors to align execution with plans.
• Monitor progress and quality, identify risks early and implement practical solutions.
• Coordinate procurement and material deliveries, including long-lead items and finishes.
• Maintain accurate project documentation: contracts, schedules, budgets, notes, reports.
• Promote safe jobsite practices and ensure compliance with codes, permits and obligations.
• Deliver clear client communication and manage expectations throughout the process.
