Job summary

Parkway School District is seeking a Head Custodian III at Craig Elementary for year-round, 8-hour shifts from 2:30 pm to 11 pm. This non-exempt role supports school operations and safety, reporting to site administration.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, prior custodial experience, and the ability to coordinate housekeeping tasks, supervise staff, and ensure clean, safe facilities for students and staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Criminal Background Check required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned facilities and/or grounds to maintain sanitary, safe, and attractive environment.
• Confers with staff and administration to coordinate maintenance activities.
• Oversees facility maintenance and custodial staff to ensure efficient operations and safety.
• Performs maintenance tasks (e.g., cleaning, waxing floors, moving furniture) for project completion.
• Prepares site for daily operations and events to ensure readiness and hazard-free conditions.
