The position includes cleaning bathrooms, classrooms, and common areas; trash removal; floor care; and basic maintenance tasks while upholding district sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Education and experience requirements as listed: high school diploma or GED plus related training and two years experience.
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions and communicate effectively.
• Basic math and reasoning to perform duties and follow written/s oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clean all bathrooms, sweep and mop floors, clean walls and fixtures, replace supplies as needed.
• Collect and remove trash; replace liners in cans in each room.
• Vacuum rooms, wipe desks, tables, and door handles; disinfect student desks.
• Clean lockers and hallways; ensure doors are locked and lights off.
• Move furniture as needed; maintain equipment and report needs to supervisor.
