Job description

Senior Curriculum Designer — Leadership Development

Employment Type: Full-time · Individual contributorLocation: Fully remote; strong written and spoken English required, with overlap into U.S. Eastern business hours Compensation: USD per month, based on experience Reports to: Director of Learning Design

About the Company

We are a rapidly growing U.S.-based leadership development firm that partners with organizations to develop their mid-level and emerging leaders. Through immersive, coaching-powered cohort programs, workshops, and custom solutions, we help leaders build the mindset, behaviors, and accountability to perform at a higher level and drive measurable business results.

Our approach is research-based and outcomes-driven, built and delivered by a team of organizational leaders, PhDs, and experienced leadership consultants. We are trusted by some of the most recognized companies in financial services, pharmaceuticals, technology, and beyond, and have been recognized as a leadership training company to watch in our industry.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, senior individual-contributor role for a designer who wants to build. You will be the dedicated curriculum craftsperson behind our programs, working closely with our learning design lead and executive coaches.

There are two clear mandates waiting for you:

  1. Modernize our flagship programs. Two of our core programs need a full refresh and overhaul, including updating content to reflect how AI is reshaping leadership and the modern workplace. You will lead that rebuild.
  2. Design our next program from the ground up. We are launching a new offering in 2027 that needs to be designed end to end: content, learning journey, facilitator materials, slide decks, and a train-the-trainer approach so our facilitators can deliver it consistently.

This is not a role where you delegate the work. You will research it, write it, design it, and build the materials yourself, while keeping our curriculum organized, current, and true to the standard our brand is built on.

Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Refresh & Modernization
  • Overhaul two flagship programs, updating structure, content, and materials for today's leaders.
  • Integrate the implications of AI on leadership and the workplace into program content in a practical, credible way.
  • Rebuild slide decks, participant materials, and facilitator guides to a consistent, polished standard.
New Program Design & Development
  • Design a new 2027 program end to end: learning objectives, module flow, content, activities, and assessments.
  • Produce the full content set, including professional PowerPoint decks and participant workbooks.
  • Build the delivery toolkit that allows facilitators to run the program with fidelity.
Facilitator Enablement & Train-the-Trainer
  • Create train-the-trainer materials and lead enablement so facilitators and coaches can deliver new and refreshed content confidently.
  • Serve as the content resource facilitators turn to with questions on intent and delivery.
Applied Research & Continuous Improvement
  • Research emerging trends, methodologies, competitive programs, and behavioral science in leadership development.
  • Evaluate new frameworks and research for credibility and fit, and translate the strongest of it into practical curriculum improvements.
Content Quality & Consistency
  • Keep program content organized and current so the team works from one reliable, up-to-date set of materials.
  • Maintain design standards and templates so everything we deliver looks and feels cohesive.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years designing and building curriculum or learning programs, with a strong hands-on portfolio.
  • Demonstrated ability to take a program from concept to finished materials independently, including decks, guides, and assessments.
  • Strong grounding in instructional design and adult learning principles.
  • Excellent written English and a sharp eye for structure, clarity, and quality.
  • Advanced skills in PowerPoint and content/design tools.
  • Highly self-directed and organized, able to own build work end to end with minimal oversight.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in leadership development, management/professional development, executive coaching, or a related L&D domain.
  • Working familiarity with leadership frameworks and behavioral science.
  • Experience refreshing or modernizing existing curriculum, and experience launching a new program from scratch.
  • Comfort integrating AI topics into learning content, and using AI tools to accelerate design and development.
  • Train-the-trainer or facilitator-enablement experience.
  • Experience working within an LMS or content platform.
Ideal Candidate Profile

You are:

  • A builder at heart. You would rather design and write the curriculum than manage others who do.
  • A strong, clear writer who can turn research and frameworks into content that lands with real leaders.
  • Self-directed and organized. You can own a full program build and keep dozens of moving pieces coordinated without close supervision.
  • Curious and current. You track what is changing in leadership and in AI, and you have a point of view on what belongs in a program.
  • Quality-obsessed. You care how the materials read, look, and hold together, because that standard is the product.
Why Join Us

You will be the hands directly shaping the programs thousands of leaders go through. In your first year you will modernize our flagship offerings and design a brand-new program from a blank page. If you want ownership of the craft, visible impact, and work that translates into real behavior change, this is that role.
