Job summary

University of Pennsylvania is seeking a Senior Curriculum Developer for the Community for Rigor (C4R) in the Kording Lab. You will co-create rigorous training materials for scientists across career stages and work with internal teams and external partners to design, deploy, and assess educational content.

You will contribute to a supportive, inclusive environment and help drive the mission to improve reproducibility in biomedical sciences through explicit instruction and evidence-based pedagogy.

Qualifications

• Must have a Master’s degree and at least three years of higher-education teaching experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Familiarity with rigor and reproducibility issues in biomedical sciences is required.
• Strong writing and documentation skills are essential for updating knowledge-base documents.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with subject matter experts and educators to create engaging educational content.
• Provide feedback on design, UX of web-based components and integrate feedback in future versions.
• Coordinate with Kording Lab, Penn, and partners while traveling up to 10% for conferences.
