Texas Parks & Wildlife Department is seeking a Cultural Resource Coordinator to perform senior archeological and cultural resource management work within the region. Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Anthropology, Archeology, Applied History, Historic Preservation, or related field.
  • Three years archeological experience for Archeologist II including fieldwork, reporting, and management responsibilities.
  • Five years archeological experience for Archeologist III including fieldwork, reporting, management, and supervision.
  • Must possess or obtain a valid state driver's license within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform senior-level archeological, research, and cultural resource management work.
  • Coordinate cultural resources management activities within the region.
  • Develop scopes of work and oversee contracted work.
  • Manage project budgets and provide technical assistance to field operations.
  • Conduct archeological field work and participate in project teams.
