Job summary

Sodexo, working on-site at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, is seeking a Senior Culinary Supervisor to oversee daily food operations across fast casual, cafeterias, events, and cafes. You will supervise staff, coordinate routine tasks, ensure safety, orient and train employees, and work with customers to maintain quality and service standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related work experience.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business.
• Assist in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees.
• Facilitate orientation and training of employees.
• Work with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service, and problem resolution.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
