Job summary

The Colorado Community College System is seeking a Senior Programmer Analyst to join the Career & Technical Education (CTE) department in the CCCS System Office. You will work on the CTE Gateway application, using C#, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and SQL to design, develop, test, and optimize data reports and web functionality.

This highly collaborative position requires translating complex technical details for end users and coordinating with the Customer Support Team and IT colleagues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technology, computer science, or related field. A combination of relevant education, training, and/or experience may substitute for the degree.
• Minimum of two years of software or database development experience, including Microsoft Azure (Webjobs, Cloud Architecture, Functions, Data Factory pipelines, storage, and B2C authentication).
• Experience with programming languages including C# and React, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, develop, configure, test, deploy and support the CTE web application (C#, React, JavaScript, TypeScript), database, and reports (SQL).
• Construct complex SQL queries to access and manipulate data, and develop/maintain stored procedures, web jobs and functions.
• Troubleshoot issues, conduct code reviews, and participate in testing and ticket work.
• Develop unit tests and collaborate on test plans.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes and infrastructure updates.
• Ensure accessibility and compliance with Section 508 and WCAG standards.
