Job summary

Providence Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska, is seeking a Senior CT Technologist for a full‑time night shift (1.0 FTE, 40 hours/week) on‑site. Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Certified as a CT Technologist.
• National Registered Technologist – Computed Tomography or National Computed Tomography Technologist – Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board upon hire.
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and coordinate all technical activities in the CT Department under supervision of the CT Supervisor, Medical Director and Radiology Management Team.
• Develop and implement CT protocols to minimize dose (ALARA) and ensure high image quality across equipment.
• Collaborate with Medical Director and physicist to ensure radiation doses meet ACR recommendations.
• Serve as a float position to cover staffing needs in other departments as needed.
• Maintain patient-focused care and uphold the department's culture of commitment and mutual respect.

Education

Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology

CT Technologist certification

National Registered Technologist – Computed Tomography or National Computed Tomography Technologist – Nuclear Medicine Certification Board upon hire

Senior CT Technologist – Providence Medical Center

Full‑Time position at Providence Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska. The role includes 1.0 FTE, Night Shift, 40 hours per week.

Hiring Bonus: $10,000 for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment. Relocation Assistance available for eligible hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Pay Range: $49.65 - $77.08 per hour. Additional compensation may be available, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Location: Providence Alaska Medical Center – Anchorage, AK, 3200 Providence Dr. Workplace Type: On‑site.

• Under the supervision of the CT Supervisor, Medical Director and Radiology Management Team, plan, direct and coordinate all technical activities performed in the CT Department.
• Develop and implement CT protocols to assure lowest possible dose (ALARA), ensure consistent installation of protocols across all equipment to achieve highest image quality.
• Collaborate with the Medical Director and physicist to review and assure radiation doses do not exceed ACR recommendations.
• Serve as a float position, working with leadership to cover potential staffing needs in other departments.
• Maintain patient‑focused, whole‑person care and uphold the department’s culture of commitment and mutual respect.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Certified as a CT Technologist.
• National Registered Technologist – Computed Tomography or National Computed Tomography Technologist – Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board upon hire.
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
• 2 years of Post‑CT Certification Experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
• 1 year of leadership experience.
