Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology; preferred.
• Three years CT technologist experience; preferred.
• Registered by ARRT in Radiologic Technology and CT; CA state licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
• Operates computed tomography scanners to produce cross-section images for diagnosis.
• Uses PACS and teleradiology system to transfer images to the appropriate location.
• Ensures department meets accreditation requirements (JCAHO, ACR, State Licensures).
• Plans daily patient workload and ensures adequate staffing.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
