Job summary

Adventist Health Mendocino County is seeking a CT technologist to operate CT scanners, deliver high-quality imaging, and support efficient patient care. The role requires strong technical and organizational skills and adherence to radiology safety standards.

The position supports diverse patient ages, utilizes PACS and teleradiology, and collaborates with the radiology team to maintain accreditation and quality care across the department.

Qualifications

• Education and Work Experience: Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology (Preferred)
• Three years' CT technologist experience (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for patients from adolescence through geriatric.
• Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted CT images for radiologist interpretation.
• Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images to the appropriate location.
• Ensure department, equipment and staffing meet accreditation requirements (JCAHO, ACR, State Licensures).
• Lead accreditation processes for the modality with governing bodies.
• Plan daily patient workload to accommodate patients and ensure staffing.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Up to $20,000 hiring incentive and $5,000 relocation available for eligible rehires and external hires who meet the required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Job Summary

Utilizes computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-section images of patient's internal organs and tissues for diagnosis of medical issues. Provides clinical care efficiently and effectively using a high level of technical and organizational skills as well as critical thinking ability. This position is represented by UFCW.

Essential Functions

Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric.Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.Uses PACS and teleradiology system to correctly transfer images to the appropriate location.Ensures department, equipment and staffing meet requirements set forth by any accreditation maintained by facility (JCAHO, ACR, State Licensures, etc.). Leads and is responsible for the process of accreditation with these governing bodies for the specific modality.Plans the daily patient workload to accommodate patients. Provides adequate staffing to accommodate patient workload, while covering vacations and sick days.Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
