Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health in New Jersey is seeking a CAT Scan Supervisor to lead CT imaging operations, ensuring patient safety and high-quality diagnostics. You will supervise procedures, coordinate with physicians and nursing teams, and oversee daily care in a busy clinical setting.

The role requires ARRT CT certification, NJ radiology license, strong communication, and 3+ years radiology experience. You will drive QA, training, and regulatory compliance while supporting department goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3+ years of CT/s Radiology experience.
• ARRT CT certification and NJ state license required.
• AHA Basic Life Support within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervises CT procedures to ensure diagnostic quality and patient safety.
• Oversees staff training to maintain high-quality images.
• Ensures proper operating performance of all CT equipment.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory standards (ACR, Joint Commission, NJDEP, DOH).
• Liaises with nursing services, physicians to obtain clinical CT information.
• Prepares payroll, staff schedules, and overtime forms.
• Assists in budgeting and equipment recommendations.
• Screening and administration of IV contrast by staff technologists.
