Job summary

Bloomberg’s Cyber Security Operations Center (CSOC) is hiring a Senior Cybersecurity Solutions Architect to broaden capabilities and drive scalable, innovative solutions. You will own areas of CSOC technology and processes, mentor staff, and collaborate with external teams to ensure vision-consistent implementations.

The role emphasizes designing robust controls, evaluating new technologies, and improving analyst speed and coverage through automation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in engineering, systems design, or a cybersecurity operations center role.
• Experience with data storage and retrieval systems (e.g. SIEM, databases, data lakes).
• Able to consider a complex process and identify optimization opportunities.
• Able to quickly understand new technologies and products.
• Experience with, or exposure to, automation and Low Code/No Code platforms such as a SOAR.
• Experience managing vendor relationships or driving delivery through external engineering or product teams.

Responsibilities

• Own CSOC technology and process areas, managing and integrating vendor products.
• Identify systemic cybersecurity operations issues and prioritize resolutions across the enterprise.
• Formalize and disseminate best practices to encode repeatable security operations.
• Pilot and evaluate emerging technologies for practical adoption.
• Mentor PTO and CSOC staff to build skills and ownership over time.
• Oversee development and implementation of technical solutions with quality and timelines.
