Job summary

Eliassen Group seeks a Sr. Engineer in Cryptography Engineering to help build a secure crypto custody solution. You will design and implement cryptographic components, focusing on MPC-based wallets and secure storage, with emphasis on resilience and threat modeling.

You will work with Rust, Go, or C/C++ on secure code and collaborate across teams to integrate with blockchain nodes and cloud deployments. Remote-friendly, contract-based engagement.

Qualifications

• Expertise in secure software development and cryptography engineering.
• Proficiency in Rust, Go, or C/C++ and secure coding against known classes of attacks.
• Hands-on experience with cryptographic protocols, key exchange, or signature schemes.
• Experience with OpenSSL or MPC libraries and hardware security features such as Intel SGX and HSMs.
• Background integrating blockchain nodes and APIs with the ability to parse and create transactions.

Responsibilities

• Design secure software components for a crypto custody wallet based on MPC.
• Apply threat modeling to mitigate attack vectors during MPC rounds.
• Implement cryptographic code in Rust, Go, or C/C++ with secure practices.
• Audit and integrate cryptographic libraries like OpenSSL and MPC frameworks.
• Leverage hardware security features including Intel SGX and HSMs, including remote attestation.
• Integrate with blockchain nodes and APIs to assemble and broadcast transactions.
• Parse and construct blockchain transactions, including UTXOs and Ethereum RLP.
• Design secure storage for encrypted key shares and audit logs with robust DB practices.
• Build reliable networking, RPC, and concurrency controls for multi-party signing.
• Contribute to cloud security and containerized deployments to avoid misconfigurations.
