Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Sr. Engineer in Cryptography Engineering for a remote, contract role with a financial services client. You will design secure crypto custody components using MPC, and implement cryptographic code in Rust, Go, or C/C++.

Responsibilities include threat modeling, hardware security (Intel SGX, HSMs), and cloud/container deployments, with OpenSSL and MPC library experience required.

Qualifications

• Expertise in secure software development and cryptography engineering.
• Proficiency in Rust, Go, or C/C++ and secure coding against known classes of attacks.
• Hands-on experience with cryptographic protocols, key exchange, or signature schemes.
• Familiarity with hardware security features such as Intel SGX and HSMs.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure components for a crypto custody wallet using MPC.
• Apply threat modeling to mitigate attack vectors during MPC rounds.
• Review cryptographic code in Rust/Go/C/C++ with secure practices.
• Audit cryptographic libraries like OpenSSL and MPC frameworks.
• Leverage Intel SGX and HSMs including remote attestation.
• Integrate with blockchain nodes and APIs to broadcast transactions.
• Parse and construct blockchain transactions (Bitcoin UTXOs, Ethereum RLP).
• Design secure storage for encrypted key shares and audit logs.
• Build reliable networking, RPC, and concurrency for multi-party signing.
• Contribute to cloud security and containerized deployments.
