Job summary

Eliassen Group in New York, NY is seeking a Senior Software Engineer focusing on cryptography and digital asset security. The role is contract-to-hire, onsite four days a week with one remote day, and requires deep backend development experience.

You will design secure custody systems, implement MPC and secure key management, integrate blockchain nodes across Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana, and work with TEEs like Intel SGX to ensure scalable, resilient security.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of software engineering experience focused on backend and secure systems development.
• Strong programming expertise in Rust (preferred), Go, or C/C++.
• Hands-on experience with cryptographic libraries such as OpenSSL or MPC-based frameworks.
• Experience with trusted execution environments (Intel SGX) and hardware security modules (HSMs).
• Strong understanding of blockchain technologies, transaction structures (Bitcoin UTXO, Ethereum RLP), and wallet systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop secure backend systems supporting digital asset custody and crypto wallet infrastructure.
• Implement advanced cryptographic protocols, including MPC frameworks and secure key management solutions.
• Integrate blockchain nodes and APIs to construct, sign, and broadcast transactions across networks (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana).
• Build and optimize systems leveraging trusted execution environments such as Intel SGX and secure enclaves.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system security, scalability, and resilience in highly sensitive environments.
