Job summary

Gridiron IT in Arlington, VA is seeking a lead cryptography architect to design and build secure systems for senior DoD clients. You will develop architecture, protocols, and perform computation analysis to strengthen cryptographic defenses and reduce attack surfaces.

As a technical leader, you’ll guide policy guidance, collaborate with senior leadership, and coordinate with multiple agencies to modernize cryptography, key management, and secure implementations across critical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Experience with USG clients and cryptographic products evaluation.
• Ability to present complex technical information to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience and capability to analyze cryptography policy and guidance.

Responsibilities

• Lead cryptographic modernization efforts across DoD programs.
• Develop architecture and technical protocols for secure systems.
• Coordinate cryptography policy guidance across commands and agencies.
