Job summary

Elliptic is seeking a Senior Cryptocurrency Intelligence Scientist to join the Intelligence team, combining data science with blockchain analytics. You will own complex on-chain threat attribution, guide collection priorities, and deliver actionable intelligence to public-sector partners and financial institutions.

You will coach colleagues, collaborate across functions, and contribute to the intelligence dataset powering Elliptic’s products.

Qualifications

• Strong data science fundamentals with SQL and Python
• Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences
• Experience in intelligence or research settings preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and own understanding of identity and on-chain signals for threat characterization.
• Lead end-to-end research and investigations, from scoping to written outputs.
• Evaluate attribution coverage and prioritise intelligence collection efforts.
• Build tooling and processes to support heuristic development and review.
• Summarise findings in reports and briefings for clients and stakeholders
