You will hire, set objectives, and drive high-impact data science across the organization. You will stay technically hands-on, frame research questions, and collaborate with leadership to ensure data science work lands as platform capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the data science team and own performance development.
• Set objectives with the team and align with company strategy.
• Hire data scientists end-to-end and build a professional growth path.
• Define data collection requirements and ensure data quality for models.
• Own model governance, validation, and production deployment readiness.
• Lead research directions and translate findings into actionable capabilities.
• Remain hands-on, review code and contribute technically when it matters.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to land data science as platform capability.
• Define AI usage standards and enforce verification and governance.
