Job summary

Polymarket is seeking a Senior Financial Data Analyst to bridge finance and data warehousing, turning platform activity and ledgers into trusted financial reports. You’ll own the reporting layer and model revenue flows from fees, incentives, and promotions, while supporting monthly close and investor reporting in a fast-moving crypto environment.

You’ll work across GL and platform data, reconcile discrepancies, and document reports and models for the team. Competitive salary and equity offered.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data analysis/science or related field with production reporting experience for finance.
• Strong SQL skills for complex joins on transaction-level data.
• Experience with accounting fundamentals and GL reconciliation.
• Experience building in modern cloud data warehouses (Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery).
• Knowledge of crypto accounting and on-chain data is a plus.
• Ability to translate finance concepts for engineers and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the financial reporting layer in the data warehouse for close, forecasting, and board reporting.
• Reconcile general ledger data with platform activity and ensure accurate reporting.
• Translate raw transaction and trading activity into clean financial reports with minimal cleanup.
• Analyze fee structures, incentives, and their impact on volume and revenue.
• Measure ROI of promotions and retention of traders acquired.
• Collaborate with finance on monthly close, variance analysis, and forecasts.
• Replace ad hoc requests with recurring reports and collaborate with analytics engineers.
• Create end-to-end documentation for reports and models.
