Job summary

OKX in the United States (Kentucky) is seeking a Compliance Analyst to join the Special Investigations team. You will conduct in-depth AML investigations, analyze blockchain data, and work with law enforcement and regulators to provide evidence for criminal inquiries.

The role requires 3–5 years of BSA/AML experience, strong blockchain knowledge, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while delivering thorough investigative reporting.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of direct BSA/AML investigations and operations in financial crimes or transaction monitoring roles.
• Demonstrated knowledge of BSA/AML, KYC regulations, risks and controls implementation globally.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrency protocols, and decentralized networks.
• Proficiency in writing detailed investigative reports for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth investigations of complex AML cases, analyzing blockchain transactions to identify suspicious or illicit activities.
• Analyze data to identify process gaps and advise on mitigating controls with Compliance, Training and FIU stakeholders.
• Evaluate AML transaction monitoring and SAR requirements across applicable jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with external partners, including financial institutions and regulators, to share intelligence and support investigations.
• Stay updated on crypto industry trends and regulatory changes to assess impacts on Transaction Monitoring.
