Job summary

Circle, a leading internet financial platform, seeks a Senior Analyst, AML Investigations, to join the Investigation Operations team. You will detect fraudulent activity, manage escalated AML cases, draft high‑quality SARs/STRs, and collaborate with policy, legal, and compliance partners.

You will bring 4+ years in AML, strong knowledge of blockchain ecosystems, and experience with TRM Labs, Chainalysis, and Elliptic. This role offers remote work and cross‑functional exposure.

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. degree; quantitative or technical degree a plus.
• 4+ years experience conducting AML alert review, investigation and applicable reporting.
• Experience writing clear SAR/STR narratives and communicating findings to senior stakeholders, law enforcement, or regulators.
• Deep understanding of blockchain ecosystems, VASPs, and evolving global AML/CFT regulations.
• Extensive experience with blockchain forensic tools (TRM Labs, Chainalysis, Elliptic).
• Strong organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Investigate complex and escalated AML cases and draft SARs/STRs.
• Own cases end to end and decide on filing actions.
• Monitor alerts and identify trends across AML activities.
• Support external parties (law enforcement, banking partners) and internal teams.
• Escalate significant risks to MLRO and engage with regulators/auditors.
• Ensure customers comply with applicable AML laws and regulations.
