Job summary

Commonwealth Fusion Systems LLC is seeking a Senior Process Engineer for the SPARC Cryoplant, responsible for developing and commissioning a helium cryogenics plant. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in Engineering and experience in thermal fluid systems, commissioning, and vendor management.

Responsibilities include designing process documentation, supporting operations, and ensuring safety protocols are met, all while being committed to teamwork and innovative engineering solutions.

The role offers a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $185,000, along with equity and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in thermal fluid system process design and analysis.
• Hands-on commissioning / operation experience required.
• Familiarity with cryogenic systems and pressurized equipment.

Responsibilities

• Support plant operations through commissioning, including shift work.
• Create design drawings and process schematics.
• Troubleshoot machinery, instrumentation, and controls.
• Plan acceptance and performance tests and quality inspections.
