The Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago is seeking a Senior Examiner within the Safety and Soundness examinations of Community Banks. The Senior Examiner will lead examination efforts as Examiner-In-Charge, collaborating with cross-functional teams and external regulators.

Qualified candidates bring seven+ years of experience, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and regulatory credentials (commission preferred). Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Seven+ years of direct work-related experience.
• Commission preferred or similar credentials from a regulatory agency; if not commissioned, go through Examiner Commissioning Program (ECP).
• Ability to coach/guide and provide guidance to all levels of staff.
• Strong written and oral communication abilities.
• Demonstrates independent and critical thinking and decision making.

Aufgaben

• Leads and participates in examinations and serves as Examiner-In-Charge (EIC) ensuring examination quality and compliance.
• Provide supervisory recommendations and responses to resolve moderately complex to complex issues.
• Develop examination/project plans, timelines, and milestones for complex examinations.
• Create and provide moderately complex to complex reports and correspondence to stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders including other Reserve Banks and the Board of Governors.
• Mentor and coach staff, providing technical expertise and feedback.
