Our Safety & Soundness unit is looking for individuals to join our team of Bank Examiners. An examiner commission through a federal or state regulatory agency is a relevant factor in consideration for these positions. If you lack an examiner commission, regulatory, banking, lending, capital markets, Bank Secrecy Act, fiduciary activities or related experience in the financial services industry will be considered. This position can be based in St. Louis, MO; Louisville, KY; or Memphis, TN.
We value clear communication, financial and risk management analysis experience, and individuals who enjoy working as part of a team. Safety and Soundness examiners conduct community and regional bank examinations and bank holding company inspections.
Overnight travel is required, typically approximately 50 nights per year, or about 20–30% of workdays within the Eighth Federal Reserve District. Travel may include up to five consecutive days of overnight stays, primarily by vehicle, with some air travel. We provide flexible on-site work arrangements and a compressed schedule to support work/life balance.
Non‑commissioned examiners: $70,000 – $110,000
Commissioned examiners: $100,000 – $165,000
