Job summary

Early Warning Services LLC is seeking a senior engineering leader to define and drive the technical strategy for cross-border payments and digital asset settlement. You will own architectural design, mentor teams, and collaborate with product to deliver secure, scalable solutions across multiple platforms.

The role requires deep experience with distributed systems, cloud architectures, and Java/Spring, plus hands-on Docker and modern front-end skills. Hybrid work across major cities is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Twelve+ years of relevant experience.
• Nine+ years in distributed systems, SaaS, cloud solutions and microservices.
• Hands-on Docker experience.
• Proven leadership in designing complex, large-scale payment platforms in regulated environments.
• Experience with front-end frameworks (Angular/React).
• Eight+ years using Java/Spring; proficiency in Maven/Gradle.
• Ability to influence and collaborate across departments.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive technical strategy and architecture for cross-border payments and digital asset settlement.
• Lead architectural design and patterns across multiple teams.
• Mentor engineers and ensure secure, resilient, compliant systems.
• Own features and long-term health of systems; improve surrounding components.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and other eng groups to build features.
• Develop tests to ensure performance and scalability; implement CI/CD best practices.
• Participate in risk management and safeguarding data integrity.
