Job summary

AgriSompo North America, part of the Sompo International agriculture platform, seeks a Senior Crop Insurance Claims Auditor for the National Operations team. The role involves reviewing and processing medium to complex crop insurance claim files, serving as a subject matter expert, and guiding colleagues for consistency and quality across audits.

Location is remote with potential states including TX, OK, KS, MO, NM, MS, LA, or CO. Travel for meetings and trainings is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of crop insurance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of FCIC policies and company policies and procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Audit and process crop insurance claims timely and accurately.
• Communicate with underwriters, adjusters, agents, and producers to resolve issues.
• Work independently and with a team to identify problems and propose solutions.
• Utilize Loss Adjustment Manuals (LAM) and other internal resources to solve problems.
• Ensure compliance with FCIC, state, and internal policies.
• Demonstrate auditing proficiency across all claim types from moderate to advanced.
• Research and resolve complex claims with limited supervision.
