Qualifications

• Master's degree in nurse anesthesia from COA-accredited program.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience.
• North Carolina RN licensure and recognition as Advanced Practice RN (NCBRNA)
• BLS (CPR), ACLS, PALs or NPR as per campus recommendation.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates the activities of the CRNA team, assigns cases, monitors workload, ensures adequate staffing.
• Provides clinical guidance and approves anesthesia plans, upholds safety protocols.
• Collaborates with surgeons and anesthesiologists to implement anesthesia care plans.
• Conducts performance evaluations and guides professional development of CRNAs.
• Stays current with anesthesia practice advancements and supports continuing education.
• Participates in quality improvement to enhance patient safety and outcomes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
