Job summary

The University of California - Irvine is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to perform anesthesia duties under the medical direction of an anesthesiologist. This role includes conducting pre-operative assessments, administering anesthesia, and providing intra- and post-operative care.

Ideal candidates should possess an ACLS Certification and a California Nurse Anesthetist License. The position may require working evenings, weekends, and holidays at both the Orange and Irvine campuses.

Qualifications

• Must perform safe anesthesia care under the supervision of an anesthesiologist.
• Experience in performing pre-operative assessments and monitoring patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties under medical direction of an anesthesiologist.
• Administer all types of anesthetic and techniques.
• Provide assistance in post-operative care.

Skills

ACLS Certification

AANA Certification

California RN and Nurse Anesthetist License

Knowledge of current nursing and anesthesia techniques

Education

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
