Job summary

UCI is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide anesthesia care for surgical procedures at its campuses in Orange and Irvine. Responsibilities include pre-operative assessments, monitoring patients during surgery, and managing emergency treatments. Applicants must have a California RN and Nurse Anesthetist License and relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Skill in performing pre-operative assessment of surgical patients.
• Understanding drug therapy interactions with anesthetics.
• Knowledge of anesthesia techniques for all age categories.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe anesthesia care under supervision of anesthesiologist.
• Administer all types of anesthetics.
• Ensure patient safety and monitor status intra-operatively.
