Job summary

Ring & DuChateau Consulting Engineers seeks an experienced Critical Infrastructure Manager for a full-time contract to oversee the planning, operation, maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement of mission-critical infrastructure and facilities.

You will collaborate with engineering, operations, security, vendors, and leadership to keep systems secure, resilient, and available, while leading risk management, incident response, and budget-related activities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing critical infrastructure or data center operations.
• Experience with risk management, business continuity, and disaster recovery.
• Strong project and program management skills, handling multiple priorities.
• Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring and asset/maintenance management systems.
• Ability to make informed decisions during high-pressure incidents.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation, maintenance, and performance of critical infrastructure systems and facilities.
• Develop strategies to improve reliability, resilience, capacity, and efficiency.
• Lead infrastructure planning, maintenance schedules, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
• Monitor performance and respond to incidents and outages.
• Develop and maintain emergency response, business continuity, disaster recovery, and incident management procedures.
• Identify risks, vulnerabilities, dependencies, and mitigate them.
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, vendors to meet requirements.
• Manage multiple infrastructure projects including upgrades and modernization.
• Establish and monitor KPIs, SLAs, maintenance metrics, and reports.
• Support budget planning, procurement activities, and vendor contracts.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, and regulatory obligations.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions after incidents.
• Maintain documentation for assets, procedures, risks, and standards.
• Provide leadership and technical direction to infrastructure personnel.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance reliability and service delivery.
