Job summary

Ring & DuChateau Consulting Engineers is seeking an experienced Critical Infrastructure Manager to join our team on a full-time contract basis. The role oversees planning, operation, maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement of mission-critical infrastructure and facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Facilities Management, Operations, Infrastructure Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing critical infrastructure, facilities, data center operations, utilities, industrial systems, or other mission-critical environments.
• Demonstrated experience managing infrastructure operations, maintenance programs, reliability initiatives, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of risk management, business continuity, disaster recovery, incident response, and operational resilience.
• Experience managing vendors, contractors, budgets, service agreements, and infrastructure-related procurement activities.
• Strong project and program management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring, asset management, maintenance management, or operational reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation, maintenance, and performance of critical infrastructure systems and facilities.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve infrastructure reliability, resilience, capacity, and operational efficiency.
• Lead infrastructure planning, maintenance schedules, upgrades, and lifecycle management initiatives.
• Monitor the performance and availability of critical systems and coordinate timely responses to incidents and outages.
• Develop and maintain emergency response, business continuity, disaster recovery, and incident management procedures.
• Identify infrastructure risks, vulnerabilities, dependencies, and potential points of failure, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, service providers, and vendors to ensure infrastructure services meet operational requirements.
• Manage multiple infrastructure projects, including system upgrades, expansions, replacements, and modernization initiatives.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators, service-level objectives, maintenance metrics, and operational reports.
• Support budget planning, resource allocation, procurement activities, and vendor contract management.
• Ensure infrastructure operations comply with applicable policies, safety requirements, security standards, and regulatory obligations.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions following significant incidents or service disruptions.
• Maintain accurate documentation for infrastructure assets, procedures, maintenance activities, risks, and operational standards.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and technical direction to infrastructure personnel and project teams.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability, operational readiness, and service delivery.
