Job summary

Salute Mission Critical LLC is seeking a Sr. Critical Facility Engineer (Shift Lead) to oversee electrical and mechanical systems in a Forest Grove data center.

You will drive preventative maintenance, troubleshoot complex assets, and lead a team of engineers to ensure uptime above industry standards. The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of NFPA and safety practices, and hands-on expertise with generators, switchgear, UPS, and building automation systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years as a Critical Facilities Engineer or in equivalent leadership role.
• Experience in data center engineering operations (DCEO) and maintaining critical facilities.
• Knowledge of HVAC, standby power, UPS, and data center infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineers in daily operations and maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Monitor, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain critical facility systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance across multiple technical disciplines.
• Inspect HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems for safe, efficient operation.
• Respond to facility emergencies and environmental issues; manage work orders.
