Job summary

Salute is seeking a Critical Facility Engineer II to join our onsite team in Cheyenne, WY. You will manage electrical, mechanical and fire/life safety systems for our data center, perform preventive maintenance, respond to emergencies, and coordinate with vendors and clients to ensure peak uptime.

You should have at least 5 years of related data center experience and strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, and building automation.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience operating, installing and maintaining data center equipment and building systems (HVAC, electrical, fire/life safety).
Knowledge of data center electrical and mechanical systems such as feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS, PDU/PMM, chillers and CRAC units.

Responsibilities

Operate, monitor, maintain and respond to abnormal conditions in facilities systems.
Complete planned and ad-hoc preventive maintenance with multiple trades.
Inspect building systems (HVAC, electrical distribution) to ensure safe conditions.
Rapidly respond to emergencies and address indoor air quality concerns.
Create, close and track work requests; initiate and verify work completion.
Monitor service contractors and recommend changes as needed.
Support data center services including colocation, connectivity and network products.
Coordinate access for third-party contractors and vendors in IT/telecom rooms.
