Job summary

Pacific Clinics is looking for a Crisis Intervention Specialist to join our team in California. You will work in a fast-paced setting providing crisis support and direct engagement with youth and adults in crisis, including collaboration with law enforcement when needed.

You will lead training and coaching of staff, document care activities, and coordinate with community resources to ensure safety and timely access to services. Strong certification in crisis intervention is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and two (2) years of relevant healthcare/medical social work experience.
• Speak, read, and/or write another language may be required by some programs/areas.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates mastery of the Crisis Intervention Specialist 1 Job Description.
• Provides crisis assessment and de-escalation of adults or youth in acute crises.
• Leads and coaches staff on crisis training and de-escalation techniques.
