Job summary

Access Services is seeking an Assistant Director of Crisis Intervention for the Montgomery County Mobile Crisis team based in Plymouth Meeting, PA. This leadership role supports the Director and develops crisis management skills within a unified team of Assistant Directors.

The position emphasizes supervisory skills, flexible prioritization, and working with diverse populations to achieve high-impact community support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required
• Master's degree preferred
• Two years crisis experience required or five years experience in mental health services
• Two years of increasing supervisory responsibilities required
• Ability to travel and drive a personal/agency vehicle

Responsibilities

• Provide overall management and daily operational oversight of the Mobile Crisis program
• Assist with interviews, hiring and training of crisis workers
• Supervise Crisis Workers weekly via individual and group supervision
• Ensure compliance with program standards and regulatory requirements
• Maintain effective communication with leadership and partners
• Provide telephone counseling and mobile crisis support as needed
• Coordinate off-site crisis management and community outreach
• Promote community programs and build positive relationships with funders
