Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess two years of secretarial or clerical work experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent can substitute for one year of required work experience.
• College education can substitute for work experience at rate 30 sem/45 quarter hours per year.

Responsibilities

• Collects and enters data about offenders into criminal justice computer systems with accuracy.
• Analyzes and updates information from court orders, law enforcement records, and offender files.
• Sends and receives information about offenders through state and national systems and explains results.
• Answers questions from authorized personnel about data and ensures staff follow standards.
• Keeps confidential information secure and performs routine maintenance on office equipment.
