Job summary

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) in Huntsville, AL seeks a Supervisory Criminal Investigator (GS-14) to serve as a program manager within the NCETR. The successful candidate will advise top management on policy and technical matters, and lead complex, nationwide investigations and task forces affecting national security and law enforcement programs.

Qualifications

Specialized experience must include advising top level Bureau management on policy issues and technical matters within area of responsibility.
Experience conducting complex studies and directing task forces or working groups on significant law enforcement issues of national significance.
Providing technical assistance to Bureau managers on major federal investigations within ATF jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

Advise senior ATF leadership on policy and technical matters related to firearms, explosives, and arson enforcement.
Coordinate and lead complex investigations or national-level initiatives as part of the Fire Investigation and Arson Enforcement Division.
Support field operations SACs and division chiefs with technical guidance on investigations and program implementations.
