The role leads, reviews, and participates in the work of staff providing professional level technical and analytical support for daily operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Criminology, Criminal Justice, Police Science, Public Administration, Computer Sciences, Mathematics, Statistical Analysis, Information Management, or a related field.
• Three years of prior paid work experience in crime analysis/research and/or intelligence analysis/research.
• A Master's Degree may substitute for one year of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, review, and participate in the work of staff performing professional level technical and analytical support for daily operations.
• Collect, collate, analyze, and disseminate crime, arrests, calls for service, and traffic data.
• Provide timely assistance to Department personnel and perform related duties as required.
