Job summary

Optiv + ClearShark is seeking a Sr Cribl Engineer to lead a cybersecurity project and mentor a multinational engineering team. You will drive client discussions, guide Associates and Level I/II engineers, and ensure high-quality delivery across complex tasks and investigations.

The role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to operate in classified environments. A TS/SCI with polygraph and a related bachelor’s degree are required.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with CI polygraph required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related area.
• 7-10 years of related work experience.
• Experience operating in classified environments.
• Understanding of identity, SIEM, cybersecurity and infrastructure concepts.
• Knowledge of governance and compliance: FAR, DFARs, CUI, and CMMC.
• Broad understanding of FedRAMP and IL constructs.
• Strong leadership concepts and ability to lead an engineering team.
• Excellent communication to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Execute tasks outlined in the scope of work with SOPs and no direct oversight.
• Lead discussions with clients to analyze needs and objectives.
• Aid Associate, Level I, and Level II Engineers on sophisticated tasking.
• Lead technical discussions to understand engineering requirements.
• Lead the technical support strategy for clients during and after project implementation.
• Serve as the escalation level for complex issues as necessary.
• Document project progress, issues, and resolutions concisely.
• Review work of junior engineers to improve quality.
• Monitor and approve timecards and expense reports.
